犬貓絕育小組 下鄉絕育活動－招募義工 TNR Volunteers Needed
台中世聯會的狗狗們最盼望的就是當每個禮拜六，義工們來把比較親人的狗狗帶出來散步。這些能出來放風的狗是很幸運的。因為義工不足，有些犬舍是沒有義工負責的，這些犬舍裡的狗就只能一輩子待在冷冰冰的犬舍中。
There
are 1000+ doggies at the TUAPA shelter. Their only chance to get
outside is on a Saturday if they are one of the lucky few who have a
volunteer to bring them out. There currently aren't enough volunteers
for the 1000 dogs, so some spend their whole lives in their cells.
你願意一個禮拜空出三四個小時給這些可憐的狗兒們，讓牠們至少一個禮拜有一天可以享受一下陽光，草地，還有被愛的感覺嗎？？

台中市世界聯合保護動物協會為了減少流浪動物的數量，每個禮拜天會在各地巡迴，下鄉舉辦免費絕育服務活動。 一個活動的形成需要許多元素組成，在這裡「志工」扮演著一個相當重要的角色！我們需要你！
Let's
humanely work to reduce their numbers through TNR. Please volunteer
with us- we have many different ways you can help to make a difference.
Lets stop the suffering that over-breeding and overpopulation bring and
break this cycle of suffering together- humanely through Trap, Neuter
and Return.
What do we look for in a TNR volunteer (preferably, not mandatory)
1. Due to the various areas that we provide this service to, your own transportation it essential.
2.
TNR is a specialist area and so requires volunteers who are able to
commit long term enabling them to develop the necessary skills needed
for the team to work smoothly.
3. If you can speak Taiwanese, Hakka
or aboriginal dialects, please join us! We often offer this service in
rural and remote areas, so it would be a great help if you can assist in
communicating with the local residents.
Foreign volunteers can help us with the following:
1. Shave the animals and prepare them for surgery, help to stabilize the animal so the anesthetist can insert an IC needle.
2. Clean and disinfect surgery instruments after usage, sterilize by using an autoclave.
3. Care for post-surgery animals and attend to their recovery from anesthesia, take photos for records.

想當義工的可以先來參加一日義工體驗營，下次要舉辦的時間會公告在"TUAPA FB"和"TUAPA官網"（http://www.tuapa.org.tw/act_index.asp），保育場義工們都是自己開車或是騎機車上保育場的。義工日都是以禮拜六為主，因為當天會盡量排獸醫值班。
各位有興趣來世聯會保育場義工服務的朋友們，歡迎大家先來一日義工體驗活動湊湊熱鬧！對於第一次上世聯會保育場的朋友們，我們除了可以對保育場有初步的認識外，還能與狗兒們有熱情親密的接觸哦！可以帶他們出犬舍散散步、曬個太陽！可以幫他們梳理毛髮、洗個舒服的香浴！可以看到他們開心的笑顏，讓自己也好心情！期待您的加入！
